XOLO recently made an addition to their Opus smartphone portfolio with a 5-inched ‘selfie’ camera – the Xolo Opus 3 – which is priced at just Rs 8499/-. The smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM). It features a 5″ HD (1280 x 720 pixel res) IPS display offering a pixel density of 294pi. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M processor along with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. To satisfy your photographic needs, there’s an 8-megapixel rear camera with external flash, while a secondary 5-megapixel front camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens and LED flash does well for video calling and clicking selfies. Connectivity options on the phone include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 options.

The many sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a magnetometer and a proximity sensor. The device employs motion control technology that employs the accelerometer and proximity sensor to control applications like music player, gallery, FM Radio, or even to take calls; allowing users to control their day-to-day tasks by just a wave of hand near the proximity sensor.
