Swipe Technologies has officially floated ‘Swipe Sense’ adding to its fablet portfolio. The device according to Swipe, is India’s first ultra thin fablet with a fingerprint sensor. The fablet bears a price tag that reads Rs.9999/-
Swipe’s latest offering is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Sense supports Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS. A 2250mAh battery pumps life in to this fablet. Swipe’s also offering an additional 2250mAh battery for free. There’s 8GB of memory space onboard that can be further stretched up to 32GB.
This Swipe device holds a 5.5-inch qHD display (960×540 pixels). The Primary camera in this dual camera fablet is an 8MP snapper on the rear side. The camera on the front is 3.2MP that captures selfies and facilitates video chats. List of connectivity options features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and OTG support.
According to Swipe, the biometric sensor is sharp enough to sense even the slightest difference in fingerprints turning the fablet into a security vault. Swipe Sense also employs gesture control. Users can also design gestures and assign them to a task of their choice.
Speaking on the occasion the launch Shripal Gandhi, Founder and CEO of Swipe Technologies stated that Swipe understood the communication needs of the present Indian youth, and has been launching several innovative products to satiate their requirements. Swipe Sense, he adds, is the company’s latest offering that packs an additional layer of security to rich multimedia and social media features. Also, the phablet has been priced such that it’s affordable by most.
