Sony Xperia C3 has hit the Indian shores. The ‘World’s best smartphone for selfies’ will be available starting September 1. The dual-SIM device priced Rs.23990 was first introduced to the world in July.
Xperia C3 is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with Adreno 305 GPU. It houses 1GB of RAM with 8GB of onboard storage space. Memory is flexible enough to be expanded externally up to 32GB thanks to a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS and is powered by a 2500mAh battery that offers up to 1093 hours of standby time and 30 hours of talk time.
Sony’s latest offering to the Indian market boasts of a 5.5-inch IPS HD display. The smartphone’s 7.6 mm slim and weighs 150 grams. Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, USB and GPS among others.
Shifting focus to the cameras and the primary camera specifically, the PROselfie camera on the front is a 5MP snapper with an ultra wide-angle lens (for groupies) and LED flash. Camera qualities are Superior Auto mode for automatic scene selection with HDR and object tracking. Of course with a front camera as such and a big display the video call experience has to be great.
The Secondary camera is an 8MP shooter on the rear side also with LED flash. Camera apps include AR Effect that clicks photos with virtual scenes in the background, Timeshift burst, Sweep Panorama and Vine along with a new ‘Potrait Retouch’ app that lets you choose beauty styles in real time before clicking a picture.Sony Xperia C3 Specifications- – 5.5-inch HD IPS Display – 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 – Adreno 305 GPU – 1GB RAM – 8GB onboard storage space – 32GB of expandable memory – Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS – 2500mAh battery – 8MP camera on the rear side with LED flash – 5MP camera on the front with LED flash
