The Xperia Tablet Z is powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core Qualcomm processor. Packed with 2GB of RAM it runs on Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) and can be updated to higher version, according to Sony.
It offers 16GB of in-built memory which, courtesy a microSD card, can be expanded up to 64GB externally. The tablet is equipped with an 8.1 megapixel primary camera and a 2.2 megapixel secondary camera. Xperia Z sports a 10.1 inch WUXGA display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and can pair with a TV using NFC. Just a tap to the NFC enabled RC should do it.
The device is fueled by a 6,000 mAh battery that offers 1,230 hours of standy time. Connectivity options include 3G/LTE connectivity, Bluetooth v4.0 A2DP, WiFi, GPS, HDMI out among others.
