Samsung has officially launched their new phone from Galaxy line-up named Galaxy Grand Prime in Indian market, with lot of competition in mid-range segment the big-wig has come up with a camera-centric phone which is quite affordable.
Alluding on the new launch, Asim Warsi, Vice President, Marketing, Mobile & IT at Samsung India, stated that Galaxy Grand Prime opens a whole new world of premium mobile experience for consumers seeking uninterrupted entertainment and multi-tasking OTG. Introducing the new trend of ‘Groupfie’, Galaxy Grand Prime includes an advanced wide-angle front camera best-suited to capture group images. With the launch of this power packed Galaxy Grand Prime, Asim added that the company is further strengthening its Grand portfolio.
This phone features a 5-inch qHD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1200 MHz coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage with access to expand up to 64 GB via micro SD card. It is powered by Android 4.4(KitKat) OS with Dual SIM support. Grand Prime packs a 8 MP rear camera which is capable of recording FHD video, and a 5 MP front camera. A 2600mAh battery takes care for a better juice. And has standard connectivity options such as 3G HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS+GLONASS, but lacks 4G LTE support (does it really matter in India yet?).

Why it’s not supporting OTG, can it be fixed with software fixes or Hardware is not supportive for OTG.
