LG Optimus L1 II Budget Smartphone Unveiled At $95

LG unveiled its latest extension to the Optimus range of smartphones, the LG Optimus L1 II for Vietnam. Priced at 1,990,000 Vietnamese dongs (approximately Rs. 5,700) this new LG device packs regular smartphone specs at an affordable price. The Vietnam launch will be followed by a roll out in select markets across the globe including Russia and United Kingdom.

Optimus L1 II is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 512 MB of RAM. It offers 4 GB of in-built memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card. The device runs on Android v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. It holds a 3-inch QVGA display with 240×320 pixels resolution. The L1 II comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera on the rear side with fixed focus and the ability to capture videos of VGA quality.

Connectivity options that the new Optimus device offers include 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v3.0, microUSB v2.0 and A-GPS. A 1,540 mAh battery fuels this Optimus smartphone .Colour options are black and white. Not much is known about LG Optimus L1 II’s India release however, it is expected that it’ll hit the shores soon.
