After introducing the ‘G2’ to the world last month, LG Electronics now seems all set to launch the flagship device in India. The Korean smartphone giant will roll out its flagship handset on September 30. The G2 was launched in New York on August 7 with interesting features like volume rocker and power button. G2 is also the first smartphone with the ability to support 24-bit, 192Khz studio-quality audio.

This LG device is driven by a 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The smartphone is available in 16GB/32GB variants. It runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. It holds a 5.2-inch True HD IPS display with capacitive touch with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and 423 ppi pixel density. The G2 has a dedicated graphics RAM that saves on battery power. It is powered by a 3,000 mAh Li-polymer battery.

The smartphone comes equipped with two cameras. The 13-megapixel primary shooter on the rear side has features like exposure compensation, BSI, optical image stabilization, Panorama among others. Videos can be captured in full HD at 60fps. The other is a 2.1-megapixel camera fitted on the front.  Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC, micro USB v2.0 and infrared. G2 will be made available in black and white colours.
