Mobile and tablet giants ‘Lava International’ introduced their newest addition to the Etab family, the ‘Xtron’. Priced at Rs 6770/-, this sleek and stylish tablet, according to Lava, is the first of its kind to feature in this price range.
The Xtron is an Android 4.1(Jelly Bean) device and is empowered by a dual core ARM 1.5 GHz Cortex A9 processor, a MALI 400 Quad Core GPU and 1GB DDR3 RAM. In addition to the internal storage capacity of 8GB (with 5GB reserved for the user) it also has an external storage capacity of 32GB. The Xtron is fueled by a 3500 mAh that can sustain the device for 3.5 to 4 hours with Wi-Fi in action.
The 7’ TFT LCD display has a capacitive multi-touch IPS screen with a pixel resolution of 1024×768. The Xtron is equipped with a front-facing 2MP HD camera. Connectivity options that this 350 gm heavy device has to offer include Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), micro USB port and 3G/EVDO dongle support. It can support a wide range of video and audio formats.
