Xiaomi Redmi Note Launch On 24th November; Priced Rs 9,999/- On Flipkart

Xiaomi Redmi Note is soon coming out to chew its competition out, for good hopefully. For the promised price, it’s tough to pick another phablet that’s as huge and offers as many features as this beast. And value-for-money seeking Indians are sure to root for this device come its launch November 24th, in a Flipkart-exclusive flash sale. And if the flash sales for Xiaomi Mi3 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S, one can pretty much rest assured that the Redmi Note shall warm the Flipkart inventory for just a few seconds, maybe even less.

For Rs 9,999, the phone packs in some real good specs and features. The phone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the MIUI v5 skin on top. It has this 5.5-inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution, and is powered by an octa-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 mobile chipset, 2 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage (memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD). For camera, the phone has a 13 megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, while a 5 megapixel front camera suffices for video calls. For connectivity the Redmi Note supports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB with OTG, and GPS/ A-GPS. Muscled within the device is a 3100mAh battery weighing 199 grams. The phone supports dual-SIM functionality even.

The phone does not include a stylus, unlike the other players with similarly huge dimensions, but then none of the others are offering themselves under Rs 10k. An Android KitKat update is expected soon even, as soon as next month. And an octa-core processor in that price? Dude, get me a Xiaomi Redmi Note already.
