Guardians of The Galaxy is the last Marvel production to screen in theaters before Avengers: Age of Ultron. Written and directed by James Gunn, it follows a disreputable band of alien fugitives who group-up to protect a prized relic sought by the evil galactic villain Ronan (son of Thanos, the villain in The Avengers who will return for Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers 2). The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Gregg Henry, Michael Rooker, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
Compared to the earlier trailers, which focused less on the theatrics, this new trailer has made a point to revolve around it. The international trailer even includes a footage unseen in the previous trailers – including the one with the origins of Peter Quill, the space-faring child abducted from the Earth in early 80s. There are also shots of supervillain Ronan the Accuser, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and the Nova Corps.
