Rumours are floating fresh that actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha may be roped in by producer Firoz Nadiadwala and director Anees Bazmee for the sequel of their 2007 blockbuster ‘Welcome’. The duo, who separated professionally and personally following a ‘hiccup of life’, have in the past delivered some great hits in Silsila, Do Anjaane, Muqaddar ka Sikander, Kasme Vaade and Mr. Natwarlal.
Senior Bachchan has already been approached for the role of RDX, the don’s role which was played in the prequel by the late Feroz Khan. Rekha, if on-board, shall be playing a fashionista who’ll be the lady love for both Nana Paterkar and Anil Kapoor, both of whom will be reprising their earlier roles in this film. John Abraham and Shruti Hasan are two confirmed additions to this franchise.
The film shall hit the floors in about a month’s time.
