Scope. Scope. Scope. This is the highlight of Rogue One’s latest trailer. Director, Gareth Edwards proves to us that he was the right pick for this movie with some stunning shots of the Death Star and Imperial Destroyers. Behind the scenes politics aside, this does not look like a movie in crisis, as is being reported. I mean, we know how the movie ends and still they manage to cut a trailer that leaves you in suspense and makes you ask what the plot actually is. Masterful editing. Also what better way to show how menacing the Death Star is than to show it eclipse the sun?
“All is…as the Force, wills it” this one line makes me believe Donnie Yen’s character is a Jedi. Can you imagine Zatoichi, the blind Samurai in a Star Wars Universe? Because that is just what we are getting.
With an all star cast starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk. Rogue One will be released on December 16, 2016.
There’s news that Disney will be casting Lando Calrissian for the Han Solo movie. Quoting Perry White from Batman V Superman, “In other news, water…..wet”. You cannot have a Han Solo flick without Lando. If rumors are to be believed, Donald Glover is being considered for the role. Disney should definitely be pulling all ropes to make this happen. He has the charm, he has the look, I mean just look at this photo and tell me I’m wrong.
Directed by the legendary team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Han Solo makes the Kessel Run on 25th May 2018.
