Samsung Galaxy Note II Powered By Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Launched In India!

The latest addition in the Samsung phablet family, Samsung Galaxy Note II, was launched today in a press event at Hyderabad. The device was first displayed at the IFA 2012 at Berlin in August, and was first launched in Samsung-nation South Korea yesterday. With a 5.55″ HD SuperAMOLED display (1280×720 resolution), that’s just slightly bigger than its predecessor, the Galaxy Note II runs the latest Google mobile operating system- the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) layered with the TouchWiz UI. It packs a quad-core 1.6GHz Cortex A-9 processor having 2GB RAM, and comes in alternatives of 16/32/64GB internal memory, with a microSD slot that expands memory by 64GB.

The Note II is equipped with an 8MP primary camera with rear LED Flash, while the secondary camera boasts a resolution of 1.9MP. The primary cam can capture full HD videos at 1080p and brings along features like geo-tagging, face/smile detection, touch focus and image stabilisation. For connectivity the phablet incorporates options like 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and exclusive connectivity options like Samsung AllShare Play & Control and Samsung AllShare Cast. Fueled by a 3,100mAh battery, the phablet flaunts two colors- marble white and titanium grey. The price tag on this gadget reads INR 39,900.
