The highly anticipated Oppo F1 luxury smartphone has made itself shown in Vietnam, where it’s listed accepting pre-orders for VND 6,490,000 (approximately Rs 19,400/-). The first batch of Oppo’s camera-centric phone starts shipping January 21 in Vietnam, and is expected to release in India exactly a week later on January 28.

The phone boasts some great specs. It has a 5-inch display (720 x 1280 pixel resolution) protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. It derives power off Adreno 405 GPU and a 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with 3GB RAM. The phone offers an inbuilt storage of 16GB, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The operating system it supports is ColorOS 2.1 (based on Android 5.1 Lollipop). It even offers dual-SIM functionality supporting micro-SIM and nano-SIM. The 2,500mAh battery offers decent usage time. The phone has an aluminum body that’s just 7.25mm thick. It’s the phone’s camera specifications that has got fans super-excited. In the rear we have a 13 megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and single LED flash along with an 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture (1/4″ sensor), tossed in with several software features like Beautify 3.0 and 8 live color filters.
