Taiwanese smartphone giant HTC is all geared up to launch a new member of the ‘Desire’ club in India. The HTC Desire 600c, successor to the HTC Desire 600, has been spotted on the company’s India website. This dual SIM handset (GSM+CDMA) though packs features similar to those of HTC Desire 600, it does not borrow the 600’s looks. Price tag is still under wraps but is predicted to be somewhere around Rs.27,000.
The Desire 600c is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It comes with 1GB DDR2 RAM and has 8GB of in-built memory to offer. Memory can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Not much is known on the OS front except that it would be an Android (either 4.1 or 4.2) with HTC Sense and BlinkFeed.
The Smartphone holds a 4.5-inch qHD display. It comes equipped with two cameras. The Primary camera fitted on the rear side is an 8-megapixel shooter with BSI sensor, a dedicated HTC ImageChip, LED flash and auto focus. A 1.6-megapixel secondary camera assists in video calling. Videos can be captured in 720p continuously and in slow motion. There’s also HTC BoomSound with built-in amplifiers that produce studio-quality sound courtesy Beats Audio. A 1,860 mAh Li-polymer battery powers the HTC Desire 600c with up to 11.1 hours of talk time and 577 hours of standby time for 3G. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), DLNA, HTC Connect among others.HTC Desire 600c Specifications- – Dual SIM (GSM+CDMA) – 4.5-inch qHD display – 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 Quad-Core processor – Android (either 4.1 or 4.2) with HTC Sense and HTC BlinkFeed – 1GB DDR2 RAM – 8GB in-built memory expandable up to 64GB – 8-Megapixel Primary Camera on the rear side – 1.6-Megapixel Secondary Camera on the front side – HTC BoomSound with Beats Audio – 1,860 mAh Li-polymer battery with talk time up to 11.1 hours and standby time up to 577 hours – 3G, GPRS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), DLNA, HTC Connect
