Gionee is yet another Chinese manufacturer which has an ample fan base in the sub-continent, with some serious hits and misses lately. Gionee  has come up with a 5000 mAh battery smartphone – the Gionee Marathon M3. The handset is listed on official website, though the availability and pricing details are still not known. But users may note that the smartphone is available for purchase via e-bay India site at Rs. 13,999/-.

The smartphone  features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core (cortex A7) MediaTek MT6582 SoC assisted by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot that can support up to 128 GB. As you would have guessed the software is Android 4.4.2 Operating system with Amigo UI on top, which proves to offer a rich Android experience. The display size is of 5 inch OGS IPS screen, laced with 720P resolution. For photography, an 8 MP auto focus on the rear and 2 MP on the front snappers are present.

Gionee M3  has an 5,000 mAh monster battery, which is surely a X-factor to opt for this phone. As per the company, the talk time is about 30 hours on 3G and about 50 hours on 2G networks. Standby time is about 32 days. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, WLAN Direct, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS. It includes a bunch of sensors namely proximity sensor, accelerometer, and magnetometer. The color options on the phone include Black and White.
