Gionee took the veils off of what is ‘the World’s slimmest smartphone’, Elife S5.5. The smartphone is set for an April launch and will bear the price tag that has a figure closer to Rs.23,000 according to the Mobile Indian. This new member of the Elife S club is just 5.5mm thick.
The Slim Gionee phone is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 2G of RAM. It has 16GB of onboard storage space to squeeze in all your apps and data. The smartphone runs on Amigo OS, the tailored version of the Android.
The Elife S5.5 holds a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED Plus screen. Cameras are two in number. There’s a 13MP camera on the rear side and a 5MP camera on the front that facilitates video chats and clicks selfies. A 2,300 mAh battery caters to the smartphone’s need for juice. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Smartphone is currently available for pre-order in China. It’ll be launched in more than 40 countries later. Colour options to choose from are White, Black, Blue, Pink and Purple.
