The official trailer of English Vinglish is out, and it does promise of an interesting watch indeed. The movie revolves around an Indian housewife (Sridevi), who struggles with the English language and lacks confidence because of the same. How she fights back her complex to make her stand is what the film is all about.

Firangi Man to Sridevi: Ma’am how will you manage in our country if you don’t know English?
Desi Man to Firangi: Like you’re managing in our country without knowing Hindi.
With this film, Sridevi will adorn the silver screen after a huge gap of fourteen years. Directed by Gauri Shinde, and shot in three languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil), this film is scheduled for release on 5th of October this year. The film shall even be premiered at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
