Dell Venue 8 7000 Is The ‘World’s Thinnest Tablet’ At Rs 34,999/-

Dell further expanded its tablet portfolio with the launch of its latest Android Venue 8 7000 tablet priced at Rs 34,999/-, available starting July. P. Krishnakumar, VP Consumer and Small Business, Dell India, stated that the tablet shall be positioned for SOHO and SMEs (small and medium enterprises) segment. The company has to offer a range of Windows and Android-based 7″-10″ tablets, and enjoys approximately 4-5% market share in India.

The tablet has a QHD (1600 x 2560 pixel resolution and a 359ppi) OLED display, and derives power off a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 2GB RAM. It includes 16/32GB internal storage and a microSD card slot to expand the memory upto 512GB. The device has got dual 8MP cameras at the back with Intel RealSense technology and enjoys functionalities of depth sensor, image refocus and distance measurements. It even has a 2MP front camera for voice calling. For connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Intel 7260 modem), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS and Miracast. The tablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and equips within the body a 5900mAh battery.
