The Moto 360 Second-Generation Android Wear smartwatch was launched in India on Tuesday. The smartwatch shall be exclusively available with Flipkart and Myntra for prices starting Rs 19,999/-. Motorola, the Lenovo-owned company had first unveiled the smartwatch earlier this year at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. It’s available in two sizes and is much lighter compared to its predecessor. With a more unisex design, the wearable is available in 46mm and 42mm sizes for men, and just one 42mm size for women. The 42mm sized design is said to suit people with slimmer wrists.

It’s been crafted out of aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel, with Corning Gorilla Glass offering complete protection to the screen. The IP67-certification ensures that the watch is dust and water-resistant (can stay immersed in up to 1 meter in water for no longer than 30 minutes). The two sizes of the watch offer 360×325 pixel resolution plus a 263ppi pixel density and 360×330 pixel resolution and a 233ppi pixel density respectively. The wearable is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is paired with Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 450MHz. The device offers an inbuilt storage volume of 4GB and 512 megabytes of RAM.
The battery specifications differ for the two sizes of the Moto 360. The 42mm variant’s equipped with a 300mAh battery that lasts for one-and-a-half days of mixed use with Ambient off. The 46mm variant features a 400mAh battery that lasts close to 2 days with Ambient off, and one full day with Ambient on. Connectivity options include both Bluetooth 4.0 LE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.
