Ab Tak Chhappan 2, the most awaited sequel to Shimit Amin’s Ab Tak Chhappan that released in 2004, is finally out with a trailer. The film stars Nana Patekar in the lead role. Apart from Nana, Ashutosh Rana and Gul Panag have important roles in the film.
The movie’s based on a real life event. Nana Patekar’s character Sadhu Agashe is inspired by police sub-inspector Daya Nayak, who was part of the Mumbai Encounter Squad. The honest cop is back in play to fight the evils of underworld dons Rawale (operating from Bangkok) and Rauf Lala (operating from Mumbai), and the trailer documents a string of encounters for which he’s responsible.
