Panasonic P81 Launch Tomorrow – Price, Features, Specifications Listed. Also, Freebies!

Panasonic seems all set to dart its much teased Octa-Core smartphone in Indian market. Panasonic P81 will be launched tomorrow reports NDTV Gadgets. The price tag to be borne by this Panasonic device will read Rs.19990 though the best price to buy is 18990, it is learnt.

The Panasonic P81 is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor, MediaTek suspected. It packs 1GB of RAM. There’s 8GB space for storage onboard with the flexibility to stretch it up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with Play Life UI mounted on it. A 2500mAh battery drives the P81. The handset sports a 5.5-inch HD display. It’s equipped with two cameras. The primary camera is fixed on the rear side and has a resolution of 13-megapixel. The secondary shooter on the frontal is 2-megapixel. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0, Micro-USB v2 and GPS among others.

Now more on the smart features packed within Panasonic P81 – There’s a Multi-Play feature which lets users open two windows and operate two applications simultaneously without any time-lag. Apart from that there’s Gesture Play, where uses may assign gestures to the many apps they use, draw them on the screen, and access the same without unlocking their device. There;s also a File Manager facility. There’s a Pop-I player which lets users watch video songs or movies without disturbing other operations like surfing the net, texting, etc. The Device Cleaner app automatically checks your storage capacity and lets you add more applications to the gadget.

Panasonic’s latest offering will come in a metal black leatherette finish. It supports dual SIM functionality too. Once it market, it shall be competing against the likes of  Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Nokia Lumia 1320, Intex Aqua Octa, Sony Xperia M2 Dual, among others.
