XOLO has listed the Q500 on its official website. An extension of the famed ‘Q’ range of smartphones, the Q500 has been priced at Rs.7,999. The smartphone comes with pre-installed X-TransPic app. It supports dual SIM as well as 3G.

XOLO Q500 Xtranspic

The XOLO Q500 is driven by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 203 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 4GB of internal memory that can be stretched up to 32GB via a microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. A 1,450 mAh battery provides it with all the juice it needs. It offers 9.7 hours of talk time and 290 hours of standby time on 3G.

The Smartphone holds a 4-inch WVGA display with OGS technology. There’s 5MP primary camera on the rear side and a VGA snapper on the front. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS among others. Focussing on the X-TransPic this app lets users translates Hindi captions of an image into English. The unique application will also be available on other XOLO-Snapdragon smartphones.
