Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi Inc is ready with its first tablet called MiPad for an Indian launch. Considering its features, this new tablet is relatively quiet cheaper with a price tag reading just Rs. 12999. The tablet will go on sale on 24th of March this year, and unlike its previous sales, this time you don’t need any kind of registration for it.
Looking at the tech specifications, Xiaomi MiPad features a 7.9 inch sharp touch screen display with an awesome resolution of 2408 x 1536 pixels with a 324 ppi pixel density. The device is powered by a 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor having 192-core Kepler GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM, and runs on Android-based MIUI ROM especially optimized for tablets.
For imaging, MiPad features an 8 megapixel primary camera with Sony BSI sensor and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The device comes with an inbuilt 16 GB of storage, also with an option to expand it up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
Xiaomi MiPad is equipped with features like WiFi 802.11/b/g/n/ac Dual Band (2X2 MIMO) and Bluetooth ensures complete connectivity solutions. The device is powered by a 6,700 mAh battery and weighs mere 360 grams. Black, white, red, blue, green, yellow are the colour variants available.
