The trailer for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next film, Mirzya, has released online after a much-buzzed about launch at the IIFA Rocks event in Madrid earlier today. You can watch it here:
The deliberately vague trailer seems to suggest that the film will straddle two timelines, shifting between modern-day India and some other, fantastical era. It looks intriguing to say the least, and appears to be the grandest project yet from the ambitious director of Rang De Basanti (2006) and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013)
Mirzya has been written by Gulzar, scored by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, and stars newcomers Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher. It hits theaters on October 7 this year.
