1883 – Indian revolutionary, Vasudeo Balwant Phadke died. Vasudeo Phadke , popularly regarded as the Father of Armed Struggle for India’s independence, believed that the swaraj was the only remedy to their wounds. His group started an armed struggle to get rid of British Raj. The group started launching raids on Rich English businessmen to get funds for their liberal struggle.

1986 – Indian born Philosopher, Jiddu Krishnamurti died. Jiddu Krishnamurti was a spiritual speaker, writer and philosopher, and was known as a World Teacher. He was a Telegu Bramhin, who, throughout his life tried to bring a kind of Radical Change in society. He constantly focussed on the revolution in the psyche of human being.

1987 – Political Cartoonist, Aseem Trivedi was born. Aseem Trivedi came into light after making some controversial Anti-Corruption Campaign cartoons. He is a founder member of Save Your Voice, a movement against internet censorship in India. This controversy gave him a chance to enter the reality show Big Boss season 6.
