Twentieth Century Fox has released an exclusive footage of its upcoming animation film Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie prior to its India release on 11th December. Charles M. Schulz’s beloved cartoon creations mark their big-screen debut in Steve Martino’s CGI feature, where Charlie Brown’s pet beagle Snoopy sets upon an adventure in pursuit of his arch-enemy, The Red Baron. Meantime Charlie is stuck in an adventure of his own – one which involves him falling in love with a new red-haired girl joining their school.

It’s charming to see how the makers have stuck to old-fashioned animation. Now this may be very appealing to the seekers of nostalgia, but whether it can turn fans of a whole new generation remains to be seen. Watching it in 3D would definitely be something though.
