Obi Mobiles has landed in the Indian market with its flagship device Octopus S520. The smartphone priced Rs.11990 is available with online shopping mart Snapdeal. Packed in a metallic frame, the Octopus S520 is 8.4mm thick. It supports dual SIM functionality.
Obi’s Octopus S520 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display. Snappers are two in number. The primary camera is 8MP with the ability to auto focus fixed in to the rear panel. It’s assisted by LED flash. The secondary camera is a 2MP shooter on the front. S520 depends on an 1800mAh battery for its demand of juice. The battery can sustain 240 minutes of talk time and offers up to 180 hours of standby time.
This Obi device is driven by a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 Octa-Core processor. It packs 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of onboard storage space. Memory can be expanded externally up to 32GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPRS, EDGE and GPS.
