Nokia Lumia 1020 Now In India: In Market From October 11, Up For Pre-Order

The Finnish smartphone maker has planted its flagship in India. Nokia Lumia 1020 has finally been floated and will be made available from October 11. The Price of this smartphone that bears a monster of a camera will be revealed on October 10, a day before it is fielded in the market. Pundits predict that the figure on the price tag hovers around Rs.49,000. Lumia 1020 was first introduced to the world in July this year in New York. The Phone is already listed on Homeshop18

The 1020 is driven by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 32GB of internal storage and that’s it. There is no scope for memory expansion. It runs on Windows Phone 8. It holds a 4.5-inch AMOLED ‘ClearBlack’ display with 1280×768 pixels resolution, 332ppi pixel density and 2.5 D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Nokia device is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.

The Star however, is the 41-megapixel ‘PureView’ camera. It is equipped with an f/2.2 lens and Xenon flash assistance that enhances performance even in low-light conditions. Other features of this massive camera are optical image stabilization, backside-illuminated image sensor and the Nokia Smart Camera application. There’s also a 1.2-megapixel shooter fitted on the front side.

Nokia also offers a wireless charging shell worth Rs.3,200 and Nokia Camera Grip for Rs.7,500. There are three colours to choose from Yellow, White and Black. The Smartphone comes loaded with Nokia Mix Radio, Nokia Music ad Here Maps Suite.
