Leaked shots of Nokia Asha 502 have surfaced online courtesy evleaks. Successor to the Nokia Asha 501 released in June 2013, the Nokia Asha 502 will be launched soon tips the popular phone leaker. ‘Nokia Asha 502, 2013’ reads the tweet. According to sources, Asha 503 is also in pipeline. It is speculated that Asha 503 could have 4G connectivity.
The latest picture that has hit the web shows the new Nokia Asha 502 will have a body developed out of polycarbonate and covered in a transparent plastic case. Going by the specifications leaked, the phone will have a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with protection against scratches. The phone could be driven by a dual-core processor it is rumoured, coupled with 512MB of RAM. Sources say it will have a 5-megapixel camera fitted on the rear side. It will be dual SIM device with connectivity options that include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth among others.
The Phone that it succeeds, Nokia Asha 501 holds a 3-inch TFT capacitive screen. It packs 128MB RAM and offers 4GB of inbuilt memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. This Nokia device runs on Nokia Asha v1.0 OS. It comes equipped with a 3.2-megapixel snapper. Connectivity features include 2G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v3.0 and microUSB v2.0. This dual SIM phone comes with 1,200 mAh Li-Ion battery that can survive 17 hours of talk time and offers 48 days of standby time. The Finnish mobile manufacturer had also announced free Facebook access for Asha 501 users.
