Nokia Asha 502 Launched, Price In India Rs 5799/-. Available In Flipkart and Nokia Store.

Nokia Asha 502 smartphone was earlier announced in October at Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi, and the other two smartphones unveiled at that event were Nokia Asha 500 and Nokia Asha 503. The phone is now available for purchase on the Nokia Store and other online retailers. The Nokia Asha 502 features an entirely new hardware design that beautifully combines up two fine layers of polycarbonate- a vibrantly covered layer below a robust transparent layer. The beauty of this merger is, it captures and reflects light splendidly, and adds no extra weight/size to the smart. Overall, it weighs just a 100 grams.

The Asha 502 features a 3-inch screen with 320 x 240 pixel resolution and supports dual-SIM. Display features include Screen Double Tap, Curved Display, Multipoint Touch, Brightness Control and Low Power Mode. The 5-megapixel rear camera shoots at 2592 x 1944 pixel resolution and offers LED flash and 4x digital zoom support. It even supports video recording at 15fps. There’s no front camera to entertain video calls. For storage, it offers a built-in memory of 64MB, while a microSD card slot adds an extra 32GB to it. A BL-5A 1010 mAh battery powers the device enough to offer a talktime of 13 hours (2G) and a standby time of 576 hours (2G).

The phone shall be running Nokia OS and shall have the Nokia Asha platform 1.1. For connectivity, the device supports WLAN, Bluetooth 3.0, Micro USB 2.0, 2G and GPRS. The overall package shall include a High Efficiency Charger AC-20, Nokia Battery BL-5A 1010 mAh, Nokia Stereo Headset WH-108, Nokia 4 GB microSD Card and a User Guide. The following applications shall come pre-installed in the mobile- Nokia Express Browser (default), Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp etc.

The official price is Rs. 6,889, but the store’s offering a discount, which brings down the price to Rs 5,739. Asha 502 color variants include- red, bright green, yellow, cyan, white, and black.
