Smartphone giant Lenovo has floated the extension to its S-series, ‘S860’ for market in India. The smartphone has been launched with a price label of Rs.21500. The company promises all-day productivity with the S860 for even the busiest of users, courtesy the battery it packs that has an ultra-long life.
Lenovo’s S860 is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek 6582 Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. There’s 16GB of onboard storage space to squeeze in data and apps. The battery is 4000mAh that offers 43 hours of talk-time on 2G and 24 hours of talk-time on 3G.
The new S-series phone sports a 5.3-inch HD display. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth. The smartphone also supports dual SIM functionality. The Primary camera is 8MP fixed on the rear panel with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera fitted on front is 1.5MP and has a fixed focus mode. This Lenovo device is 10.3mm thick and weighs 190g.
Lenovo’s latest offering is pitted against Gionee’s Elife E6 launched in October last year. Tagged with a label that reads Rs.22999 the phone has a 1.5GHz MediaTek Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It has 32GB of internal memory space and boasts of a massive 13MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera.
