LeEco, the brand that no one knew about in India, is making major strides in this country. It set foot in this part of Asia by launching its budget friendly smartphones – Le 1S, Le 2 and Le Max2, all these gadgets did not compromise much on features but were priced aggressively to attract Indian Consumers and they did. The company has already sold millions of smartphones in this smartphone hungry nation and is now looking to expand its portfolio of products by launching its own set of L.E.D televisions. Le Eco has been teasing fans on social media with its hashtag #TheFutureisBig, which was a clever campaign to build traction around its range of Televisions. All the campaign details pointed towards a press event in Hyatt, New Delhi where today LeEco finally launched its Super TVs, as they call it.
LeEco launched three smart TVs in sizes of 55 Inch and 65 Inch. The three models that were unveiled today are all smart TVs and have a UHD( Ultra HD) display. LeEco’s focus with this launch is not only to sell TV’s in the Indian market but also to offer its complete package of cloud content along with the TV sets. All the smart TVs will be pre-installed with custom apps and the TVs will run on a highly customized version of Android 5.0 .All three of them come with 2.1 stereo speakers that support Dolby audio and DTS surround sound. LeEco will conduct a pre-sale for all the three models from 10th to 12th Aug on LeMall.com and Flipkart. As part of the three day sale all the buyers will get a cashback of Rs 5000 on HDFC debit and credit cards.
