Leaked: Sony Xperia Z1 May Come With 20MP Camera!

It’s flooding teasers. Though Sony’s Xperia Z1/Honami/Xperia i1 is expected to be officially launched next month the smartphone’s images are all over popular social networking websites facebook and twitter. There has been a lot of speculation about specifications of this Sony device and lot of excitement surrounds it as the company fuels it further with these leaks.

The Flagship smartphone is predicted to be driven a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor mated with 2GB of RAM. It will also hold a 5-inch TRILUMINOUS full HD display and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery it is said. The Smartphone may run on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS but according to some Android v4.3 can’t be ruled out too. It may have 16GB/32GB of in-built storage to offer which could be expandable up to 64GB. However, the star attraction will be the camera it comes equipped with, it is hoped. It is rumoured that it will have a 20-megapixel Exmor RS camera with G-lens and BIONZ image processor.

Just like every other Xperia device the Honami will also be resistant to water and dust. ‘About to make a splash’ reads the facebook post on the Sony Mobile fanpage dated August 23. Earlier, teasers were floated on the Sony Xperia twitter handle. One of the tweets read ‘It’s the smartphone everyone’s been talking about… not long now’ with an image of Honami’s power button. The Smartphone will be introduced on September 4 at the IFA Consumer Electronics Trade Show to be held in Berlin.
