Honda’s Promise: New Scooter Will Take You On A Flight!

Auto major Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, with every passing day, is making every effort to take the top spot in India’s favourite vehicle segment, two-wheelers. Come June 12 when HMSI will roll out another new scooter. Though HMSI has managed to keep the new vehicle under wraps, sources suppose that it could be a variant of their successful scooter Activa called Activa-i. And considering Actia’s phenomenal success in South India, these rumors make sense. Chances are that this Activa-i may feature in the 125cc segment and includes a 109cc HET four stroke engine. Until then HMSI released this invite questioning if we’re ‘Ready to fly?’

Honda June 12 New Scooter Ready To Fly

After the launch of the ‘CB Trigger 150’ and ‘Dream Neo 110’ it has become clear that HMSI has a strategy in place eyeing its competitors’ share given that another two-wheeler is in the offing. The Compnay expects that by the end of FY13 it would have enhanced its production capacity. Last month the company launched a new facility at Narasapur in Karnataka taking the number to three. The manufacturer already has functional units at Manesar in Haryana and Tapukara in Rajasthan. Their capacities combined the company hopes to reach the production target it has set for itself.
