Stan Lee’s “Chakra- The Invincible” is the new guardian of justice in town, the latest Indian superkid who’ll fight crime and save the day with his yogic superpowers. And just like his peers Nagraj, Doga, Super Commando Dhruva, Triranga and Yodda, he too has a classy body suit to disguise himself with. Chakra is basically a teenager based in Mumbai, a science prodigy who formulates a body suit together with his mentor. It’s this suit, which when worn, allows him to activate his yogic chakras thus tapping into his superpower.
Sharad Devarajan (CEO, Graphic India) has teamed up with Stan Lee (former chairman and president of Marvel comics and co-creator of wonders like X-Man, Iron Man, Thor, The Fantastic Four, Hulk, Spider Man among others) to conceptualize the character of Chakra. The comic was published on May 4, and will also be translated in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. TV-series plans are underway based on this comic.
