Last year, Xiaomi sold close to 2.5 million Redmi Note 3 smartphones and that is not surprising considering the near-perfect experience it offered its users. The phone had competitive specs, great body and a perfect price.
Xiaomi is going to cash in on its successful 2016 by beginning this new year by launching the successor to the Note 3. The Redmi Note 4 will be launching in India on January 19th at an event in New Delhi. The phone is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000 and will have the same screen size (5.5 inch ) as its predecessor. Along with that, a faster finger print sensor, a snappier processor are also expected to feature in the smartphone.
The phone is going to be sold exclusively on Flipkart. Considering Xiaomi’s past track record, we can safely assume that the phone will move eyeballs and push sales figures.
