The wait for XOLO’s Play Tegra Note is finally over. XOLO will officially float the tablet in the market tomorrow. The slate has also already been listed for pre-orders. Spotted on popular online mart Flipkart, the Play Tegra Note has a price tag that reads Rs.17999. Flipkart is also offering a Smart Cover worth Rs.2,499 under a special pre-order offer.
The slate holds a 7-inch HD display that has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It comes equipped with two cameras. The primary camera fitted on the rear side is a 5-megapixel snapper while the secondary camera is a VGA shooter on the front. Camera features include HDR, auto focus and tap-to-track. The tablet can sustain 10 hours of HD video playback. It also brings along a stylus with it. The tablet also has pre-installed SmugMug camera application and NVIDIA TegraZone.
XOLO latest offering to the tablet segment is driven by a 1.8 GHz Tegra 4 SoC plus Cortex A15 Quad-Core processor and 72-core GeForce GPU. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. It comes packed with 1GB of RAM and offers 16GB of onboard storage flexible enough to be expanded externally up to 32GB via a microSD card.The Play Tegra Note will receive firmware updates ‘over the air’ from NVIDIA. Connectivity options enlisted are Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth v4.0 among others.
