Bus operators working in tandem with redbus have installed GPS trackers in accordance to the required service. Just a few buses are equipped with GPS trackers as of now, but pretty soon all the buses will be rounded up. The app will now pin-point the exact location of your bus on Google Map.
Once the ticket is booked via redbus, an SMS would be sent to the user with a specific link to track down the bus in real-time. Also, to ease up your work, you’ll even be given the bus’s registration number. The Android App even provides integration with alerts, so you get a notification from redbus 30 minutes prior to your journey (provided your data connection is on).
