Aiming to expand their span over the Indian news readers, BBC Hindi has now been rolled out as an Android App to give the latest news and events on the Android handsets in Hindi. The app gives out stories categorized into Latest News, India, International, Entertainment, Sport, Science and Multimedia, among others. The stories shall be arranged in chronological order or as per their popularity among the users.
Other noteworthy features of BBC Hindi Android app is the ability to increase/decrease text size, share articles over several social networking site and via e-mail, and view video content over Wi-Fi/3G connections.
