German auto giant Porsche , on Tuesday, introduced its popular sports car the ‘Cayman S’ in New Delhi. The Cayman S, face-lifted, has been made available at Rs.93.99 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). Speaking on the occasion Anil Reddi, Director, Porsche India said-
“It is built for driving through bends like few other sports cars and offers an outstanding sports car experience combined with the practicality of everyday driving.”
The two-seat sports car has been re-engineered to perform even better than before. The car has shed about 30kg making it lighter than its predecessor, depending upon model type and equipment used. It also feeds on 15 per cent less fuel every 100km than its previous edition.
The Cayman S comes with a 3.4L 6-cylinder flat-engine with Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) and VarioCam Plus which develops 325 hp at 7400 rpm and maximum torque of 370 N-m. The Sports Car has a six-speed manual gearbox and can zoom to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 283 km/h (175 mph). The interiors have been refurbished- a fusion of sport and comfort. The dashboard and console have leather applications on certain features. If you aren’t satisfied you have the liberty to add a touch of your own as well.
