New ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ Trailer Welcomes You To A Magical New York

Warner Brothers revealed the new trailer of upcoming magical fantasy film at the recent 2016 MTV Movie Awards at the hands of Eddie Redmayne. The trailer’s new footage reveals magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie) entering the New York of 1926 with a mysterious suitcase carrying a plethora of magical beasts, looking for an important official at the Magical Congress of the United States of America (or MACUSA, which is basically and Americanised version of Ministry of Magic).

This Harry Potter-prequel spin-off carries the same magical undertone that we got to witness in the eight Potter films, and the periodic set pieces add depth to the settings. The reference to Albus Dumbledore just blew my socks of, and I’m sure many Potterheads must be already going equally crazy over the big man’s mention. And while we’re still talking of magic, let’s not forget the godly musical score that just binds you in the most enchanting of spells.

The trailer also reveals more of the cast in Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler, among others.

Directed by David Yeats (who helmed a good many Harry Potter films, including Half-Blood Prince and the two-part Deathly Hallows), the film is all set to release come November this year. Watch its amazing blazing trailer here-
