Super-Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, who’s constantly garnished the small screen with his delicacies, may soon bag a full fledged lead role in the upcoming film ‘Master Chef’. Director Shuja Ali, who’ll be captaining this film, said, “I want to make a complete food-based film and I have approached Sanjeev Kapoor. Sanjeev really liked the script and he is in love with it. He said he never thought a director would approach him for a film. I am very much excited about the film.” At present the director is busy promoting his debut venture Baat Bann Gayi slated to release this Friday.
Shuja claims that ‘Master Chef’ will be the first film totally based on food. He added- “The film itself is titled ‘Master Chef’ and who better than Sanjeev can be part of the film. He is a very knowledgeable person. Once he signs the film, we may start rolling. We have not really explored this genre before, so food drama will be a new genre in itself.”
