Lava Magnum X604 Launched, 6-Inch Phablet To Cost Rs. 11999.

Lava mobiles today made an entry in to large screen segment of smartphones market with the launch of their first 6-inch smartphone named as Magnum X604. The phablet is Lava’s first baby to sport a 6-inch HD IPS display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is exclusively launched in partnership with online retailer Snapdeal, though the phone will also be available at all major mobile retailors across the nation.

Powered by 1.2 Ghz Quad-Core processor, the smartphone runs on Android’s latest 4.4.2 (Kitkat) version of OS, and to enhance its graphic performance, a Videocore IV GPU is fitted in it along with a 1 GB of RAM. It’s a Dual Sim phone having internal memory of 8 GB which could be expanded upto 32 GB via a MicroSD card. For imaging, Magnum X604 features 2 cameras; one on the rear side is of 8 megapixel capacity coupled with an LED flash and BSI sensor, along with a 2 megapixel front facing snapper especially for video calling.

If we talk about the battery life, the smartphone fits a 2600mAh battery under its hood which delivers upto 8hrs of talktime and 200hrs of standby time. Features like 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and GLONASS ensures full connectivity. Overall it’s a sleek device measuring 163.3x84x8.9mm and weighs mere 207 grams. The phone will be available in Black and White colour variants.

Co-Founder and Director, Lava International Ltd., Mr. S.N.Rai, who were also present at the launch expects Mangum X604 will multiply consumer’s experience with its big screen size and high-performance features while being highly pocket-friendly and portable. Mr. Rai also believes that the new smartphone is a perfect companion for consumers who want to stay connected and experience the best of both smartphones and tablets in one device.
