After three films in the Bourne series, Matt Damon had opted out of the fourth instalment and let Jeremy Renner take his place. The film did good, but did not feel right without the Bourne we were so used to. Didn’t feel right to Damon too, and so he has returned in the fifth instalment of the franchise and life is so good again.

The trailer shows Bourne recollect everything. Or rather he thinks he remembers everything. But as his co-star Julia Stiles’ character puts it – what he remembers and what he knows may not be the same thing. The trailer also gives us a good view of the fight scenes our CIA’s super-soldier would be involved in, and the action looks marvellous. Matt Damon has beefed up for his role and it shows. The name Edward Snowden is dropped in the trailer as well, hinting that this whole Bourne thing might end up being a major political plot that was meant to stay buried. Other important characters in the film are that of Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones.

Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum and directed by Paul Greengrass, the film Jason Bourne release 29th July, 2016. Watch the trailer here and let us know your opinion about it in comments.
