India is all set to witness its first ever Maruti Suzuki Alto Comic Book Celebration Week, where comic book enthusiasts will get to download free comic books of select titles straight on their desktop, tablet or phone from any corner the country. Presented by Comic Con India and powered by ReadWhere, the celebration will be held from July 4th to July 10th, 2016. The main publishers participating include Amar Chitra Katha, Chariot Comics, Graphic India, Abhijeet Kini, Campfire Graphic Novels, Holy Cow Entertainment, Meta Desi Comics, Saumin Patel, Shamik Dasgupta and many more.
Comic Con India had started a Free Comic Book Weekend in 2013, with an aim to expand the reach and scope of comic books across the country. This Alto Comic Book Celebration is an extension of the same initiative, where apart from free comics there will be lots of fun-filled activities for fans to participate in.
