Chinese smartphone giant Gionee has floated the ‘Elife E6’ in India with a price label that reads Rs.22,999. The flagship device was launched in New Delhi. It was first introduced in July this year. Not much is known about availability though it is expected that the smartphone will soon be made available in market.
The Elife E6 is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of inbuilt memory space, however, any mode for external expansion is absent or simply there is no card slot. The Smartphone runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean). The device has twin cameras. The Primary camera is a 13-megapixel snapper with flash assistance that can auto focus, on the rear side. The Secondary camera is a 5-megapixel shooter on front that facilitates video chatting. Both cameras capture videos in 1080p.Gionee’s Elife E6 comes packed with 2,020 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth v4.0.
Gionee’s latest offering to India sports a 5-inch full HD display (1080×1920 pixels resolution) with 441ppi pixel density. The screen incorporates ‘One Glass Solution’ technology. The 6.18mm thick phone weighs 128 grams. This Gionee device also has features like auto pause and play videos, gesture controls, sweep control to answer calls or simply browse pictures.
