DOMO has introduced a budget tablet dubbed as DOMO X14. An Android tablet, this DOMO device comes with a price tag attached that reads Rs.4,990. It has been fielded against budget tablets from favourites like Micromax and LAVA. The X14 weighs 305 grams and has dimensions of 182x121x10mm.

DOMO’s latest offering is driven by a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor along with 512 MB DDR3 RAM and Mali 400 GPU. It offers 4 GB of inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. It runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and has been customized to support Flash. The Slate comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera on the front which will facilitate video calling and also click pictures. It supports 1080p HD videos. The X14 is powered by a 3,000 mAh polymer battery that can sustain 3 to 5 hours of surfing along with activities like watching videos and listening to music.

The Slate holds a 7-inch backlit glossy widescreen display with fingerprint resistant coating. The screen is a five-point multi-touch capacitive screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), 3G, Micro USB port, AGPS among others.

The New DOMO tablet packs a lot of features. Of course the camera on the back side is missing but the specifications at this price should make up for the loss. The DOMO X14 is an affordable slate created especially for students says Mazher Shaikh, Business Development Manager, DOMO.
