BlackBerry Q10: Pre-bookings Open. Expected Price: Rs 28-30k.

After a remarkable response in UK and Canada, the smart-phone maker, BlackBerry, is all set to launch its latest device ‘BlackBerry Q10’ in the Indian market. Though the price is yet to be unveiled, it is up for pre-orders on the Online shopping portal “Snapdeal.com” with a token amount of INR 1000. The phone is expected to be launched in the ‘fourth week of may’, as quoted by Snapdeal.

The BlackBerry Q10 boasts a 3.1-inch super AMOLED touchscreen with an 8 Megapixel rear and a 2 Megapixel front camera. Powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, it becomes the second phone to run on the new BlackBerry 10 OS, first being BlackBerry Z10 priced at INR 43,490. It also comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard, something considered synonymous with the brand ‘BlackBerry’.

Under the hood, it packs a 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 64GB, and a 2100mAh battery. For connectivity, the options available are: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G and NFC. It comes in two colour variants Black and White. The Official Price, still unknown, is expected to be between INR 28,000 to 30,000.
