BlackBerry Leap India Launch Price Rs. 21490/-

BlackBerry Leap is all set for its grand India launch next week, and sources reveal that the launch price for the smartphone is Rs 21,490/-. Unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona earlier this year, mid-range smartphone Leap runs BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 and comes with a 5-inch 720p toch display (no keyboard) protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It derives power off a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset with Adreno 225 GPU and 2GB of RAM. For camera needs, the Leap has a 8MP rear shooter and a 2MP front camera. The internal storage capacity on this phone is 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It’s powered by a 2800mAh battery, which as per company claims delivers up to 25 hours of ‘mixed usage’. The device does not support TDD-LTE Band 40 that’s used by existing 4G networks in India, but supports FDD-LTE Band 3 that’s highly anticipated to be embraced by some operators in near future.
